he department offers two Master ’s programs in international relations and international politics, one Bachelor ’s program in international politics and one joint Ph.D. program in collaboration withChinaInstituteofContemporaryInternationalRelations(CICIR). The DIP targets its programs at developing students with broad knowledge of history and theories in international politics, proficiency in the English language, and competency in the analysis and teaching of international affairs in government departments, enterprises and educationalorresearchinstitutes.

The main courses offered at the DIP include: Politics, History of Modern International Politics, History of Post-war International Relations, Introduction to International Politics, Introduction to State Security, International Political Economics, Western Theories of International Relations, Western Comparative Politics, Diplomacy, International Organizations, Origins of Western Politics and Culture, Foreign Policy of China, Religion and International Relations, International Issues Research Methodology, and Strategies and Development of International Affairs.
