niversity of International Relations (UIR) has been active in seeking ways to improve and expand its educational patterns. Right now, a full scope of collaborative teaching, research and foreign exchange programs have been initiated, and extensive and in-depth cooperation between the school and various industries, cities, and research institutes have been established. Over the years, UIR has set up sound cooperative relations with Universities and research institutions in US, Denmark, Japan, Argentina and so on. Specifically mentioned, UIR has undertaken a program for joint master’s degree of China and International Relations (CIR) with Alborg University in Denmark, and the master’s degree certificate will be jointly issued by the two universities. Each year, UIR has certain amounts of faculties and students sent abroad doing researches and participating in academic exchanges. Besides, UIR launches English-taught courses for foreign students and UIR students, such as International Economic System and China’s Development, China’s Foreign Policy: Theory and Practice, Chinese Traditional Culture and Philosophy, China’s Political System and the Policy-making Process, Practical Chinese for Non-Chinese Speaking Students, and so on. Above all, UIR will continue its endeavor in promoting international cooperation and exchange programs on the basis of mutual benefits and development.
